About

Heather Authier joined Jellum Law fresh out of college and has spent the past 18 years building a career defined by steady growth and hard earned expertise. She began in litigation during the challenging 2008 recession, then transitioned to the transactional team in 2014, where she standardized client procedures, streamlined internal processes, and created the loan document templates the firm still relies on today. Her drive for continued learning —through coursework with trusted institutions and the firm’s ongoing support — has carried her to her current role as Senior Paralegal and Legal Support Team Lead.

Heather’s expertise centers on the SBA loan process, where her deep knowledge and easygoing approach make her a trusted resource for colleagues and clients alike. Both her team and the firm’s clients know they can turn to her with any question, confident they’ll get clear answers and dependable support.

Heather graduated with honors from Minnesota School of Business, earning her Paralegal Associate Degree. She holds a Minnesota Certified Paralegal (MnCP) credential, maintained through ongoing continuing legal education, and is an active member of the Minnesota Paralegal Association and the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL). In 2021, she earned her NAGGL Fundamental Program Diploma, and in 2024 she achieved the NAGGL Advanced Lender Diploma — a distinction held by only about 106 professionals nationwide.

Outside the office, Heather cherishes time with her family.
