Kim Ray attorney

About

Kim brings well-earned SBA experience to our transactional law team. Prior to joining Jellum Law, she spent nearly two decades as in-house counsel for several different prominent government-guaranteed lenders, providing legal services in support of each bank’s lending programs. In 2021, she brought her talents to Jellum Law.

As a detail-oriented person, Kim has a deep understanding of the SBA loan process and framework. With new lending rules and policies regularly introduced, Kim is dedicated to staying on top of each new update and detail. She understands that no two transactions are exactly the same and looks forward to the challenges and opportunities that every day brings. She’s most comfortable working on complex transactions with multiple departments, from underwriting and closing to servicing, and helping her clients develop innovative solutions for unique situations.

Kim lives in Knoxville, Tennessee (Go Vols!) with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending her free time in her garden and loves to travel with her extended family.
